Challenge
Design a map of California highlighting local farms to be featured at an upscale reception. The goal was to showcase food sourcing in a way that felt elevated, cohesive, and visually engaging.

Solution
To move beyond basic plotted points, I illustrated each locally sourced food item, creating custom visuals that brought personality and clarity to the map. I designed the overall style—typography, color palette, and layout—with the event’s branding in mind, incorporating accents of metallic gold to reflect the upscale tone. The result was a functional yet artful piece that both informed and delighted guests.
